Turn your Love of Dogs into a Career that you Love!

Sherry Miner

Hi my name is Sherry Miner and I will be teaching you at Must Love Dogs. My career with dogs began in 1991 when I attended the West Virginia Canine College. It was there that I completed three months of intensive training and education in canine training, care and handling. After completing this schooling I wanted to know more so I took a correspondence course in Animal Care from the International Correspondence School of Animal Science. I have also taken several courses in canine first aid.
I am currently a part time police officer in the town of Royalston where I work a search and rescue dog. I have been a police officer since 2003 and have worked a search and rescue dog since 1993. I began grooming at a professional show kennel in 1996 but needed a full time job so I went to Petco in 1997 where I stayed and continued to improve my grooming until 2009. In 2009 I came to Must Love Dogs so I could pass on what I had learned and experienced to others. I look forward to meeting you and helping you begin a career that I have enjoyed for 15 years.
